Applying technology to life is Phenikaa-X’s mission and we are constantly developing new products to fulfill that mission. Disinfection robots are researched and developed by Vietnamese people, applied right in Vietnam and especially at the time when the Covid epidemic is still a dilemma.
Why do we research and develop disinfection robots?
From the first months after the outbreak, we saw the need for regular disinfection, non-human disinfection because this work is quite toxic. In foreign countries, many hospitals, commercial centers, apartment buildings, airports, office areas, hotels… have used this robot very effectively. And the question of why Vietnam did not do that prompted us to research and develop disinfection robots.
For the disinfection robot, the upper module includes a UVC lamp, a disinfectant sprayer and a compartment for transporting equipment such as medicine or necessities, the lower module is a complete AGV, these two modules can be disassembled separately and do other functions too. When the disinfection work has been completed, these 2 modules are disassembled, the lower moving module becomes the AGV to transport goods throughout the warehouse and even in the hospital.

SMART DESIGN
The disinfection robot consists of two separate parts, the transport vehicle module and the tray module. These two parts can be separated, so it is very flexible to change depending on the requirements from the user.

SAFE WHEN USING
The robot can disinfect with UV light or disinfectant solution. For areas with food and water, the use of UV rays will be more secure.

BIG TRAY
The robot has a tray to transport food, medicine, etc. to the isolation rooms by remote control via RF controller or over the internet using wifi.

AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT
The robot is capable of navigating automatically and safely, even in crowded areas. The robot is capable of scanning and mapping automatically, so the operation is very convenient and fast.

SMART ALGORITHM
Use the laser scanner to detect intruders in the robot’s work area and will turn off the lights and chemical sprayer immediately. This ensures the safety of using UVC lamps as well as chemicals in the sterilization process
SPECIFICATIONS – ROBOT LINE FROM
The transport module uses two main navigations, SLAM navigation and magnetic line navigation. Navigating the magnetic line is highly stable, easy to implement, you just need to determine the path for the robot and paste the magnetic line, the robot will move along that line, especially the cost will be cheaper. However, when there are many lines for different robots, the use of magnetic lines becomes complicated. Moreover, after a period of use, the quality of the magnetic line will be reduced and need to be replaced.

SPECIFICATIONS – ROBOT LASER SCAN
For SLAM navigation, i.e. the robot both locates and maps, the robot only needs to scan the map once and then set up the map and route itself. This form will require a higher initial cost, but after a period of use, it is effective, especially in cases where the company restructures the warehouse.

Disinfection robot at Ban Mai Middle School, High School
In March 2021, before students go to school after a very long Tet holiday due to the epidemic, Phenikaa-X has disinfected Ban Mai Middle School and High School. Door handles, stair handrails, tables and chairs, tools, teaching equipment; canteen; library; Function rooms … are disinfected by a combination of close UV rays and a thin, close mist spray system to ensure that all areas where wipes cannot be reached are disinfected, helping students safely go to school.

Our disinfection robot has come to Bac Giang epidemic center to disinfect, disinfecting robots throughout the hospital area. Hopefully the robot will help some doctors, reducing human effort in disinfecting areas.
